On the evening of July 14, the awarding ceremony of Camellia Prize 2011 was held by Ningbo Municipal Government in Sheraton Ningbo Hotel. 8 foreign experts won “Camellia Prize”and 12 won “Camellia Commemoration Prize”. Vice Mayor Wang Renzhou delivered a speech on the ceremony and awarded the prizes to “Camellia Prize” winners. The leaders from Ningbo FAO, Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Ningbo Education Bureau, Ningbo Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Exit-Entry Administration of Ningbo Public Security Bureau attended the ceremony and awarded prizes to “Camellia Commemoration Prize” winners.
“Camellia Prize”was established by Ningbo Municipal Government in 1996 to praise the foreign experts working in Ningbo for their contributions to social and economic development of the city.
The 8“Camellia Prize”winners this year include: Mr. Helge Hareland (Norwegian), CFO of NIP Co., Ltd., Mr. Enrico Bonci (Italian), Assistant General Manager of Ningbo Consinee Woolen Textile Co., Ltd., Mr. Motoyoshi Trira (Japanese), Technical Manager of Ningbo Veken Screens Co., Ltd., Mr. Alan Anthony Garner (British), General Manager of North America Corporate, Ningbo Sheng Long Group Co., Ltd., Professor Earl Gordon Hotrum (Canadian) of Ningbo University, Mr. Mamoru Adachi (Japanese), General Manager of Takedalace China Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhu Ye Junjie (Spanish), Board Chairman of Industrias Tecno Catalunya (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Takahashi Masaaki (Japanese), teacher of Ningbo Foreign Affairs School.
